How SafeTeen Alert Works

  1. A collaborative group of parents, guardians, family members, or friends agree to install the SafeTeen Alert app and form a trusted safety circle.

  2. If a teenager or any member of the group who has the app installed finds themselves in an imminent or dangerous situation, they can discreetly send out an alert without drawing attention.
  3. The alert instantly notifies every member of the safety group, showing the teen or other group member name, status, and current location on their screens.
  4. Location updates continue to be sent automatically until the teen or group member cancels the alert or is confirmed safe.
  5. Any group member heading to help can easily send a quick message notifying others that assistance is on the way, preventing confusion and ensuring coordination.
